Ce Conus archiepiscopus est de forme cholmondeleyi mais pas en totalité, plus d' un côté que de l' autre; et encore!!! plutôt une variante. La détermination des formes du ''complexe textile'' de Madagascar est un vrai casse-tête pour qui veut s' y attacher, tant il y a de formes intermédiaires entre les formes décrites; donc des variantes dans (entre) les formes!!!! Ne voyez pas de trace rose à l' intérieur; c' est un effet photographique. Acheté à la Bourse annuelle de l' AFC Paris (2011). Taille: 61 mm.
This Conus archiepiscopus is a form of cholmondeleyi but not all, more than one side than the other, and yet! rather an alternative. Decide the forms of ''textile complex'' from Madagascar is a real headache for those who want to interest to, as there are intermediate forms between the forms described, so much variations into (between) forms! !
